Dear COOT developers, I have been having some lag issues using COOT 0.9.8.92 on Mac (Sonoma 14.7.3). When I rotate my view (left mouse), centre on an atom (middle mouse) or move along the backbone (spacebar), everything is processed at a normal speed. When I use CTRL+Left Mouse to translate my view, each movement takes 1-2 seconds to process. This also occurs when I cycle between NCS chains.
This has happened twice, to 2 unique PDB coordinate files, but not to any others that I am working on. Both occasions happened after saving the coordinates. I've tried opening these coordinates in my Windows version (Wincoot 0.9.8.1 - Windows 10 Pro build 19045.5608), but the problem persisted. I checked in a file editor but I couldn't see any obvious differences in the PDB text contents between the previous coordinates and the laggy file. Appreciate any advice on the matter!
