Somehow, that doesn't work for me (maybe some repository is missing on my side). We run automatic nightly (for Ubuntu 24.04) and weekly (for others like Alma, Rocky, Debian, OpenSuse) builds of the current Coot development version and upload (hopefully self-contained) tarballs to [1]: these might work for others too ...
