I asked about this on the list. But I cant seem to find the email so I will
just re-explain.
Basically, I am writing a patch in nutch so nutch is compatible with
hadoop-0.17. We would like to have the capability of filtering out hidden files
from map reduce routines, that way we can make 100% sure a few different bugs
do not occur.
It would also be fine if it was protected.
