I have manually tested the patch w.r.t counter recovery and update. Some 
counters are recovered using HADOOP-3970 while some are dynamically updated 
based on replay of events (job level counters like DATA_LOCALITY etc). Have 
manually checked and found the counters upon restart are very similar to the 
ones before the restart.
