ORDER BY clause is ignored for SELECT statements

The "ORDER BY" clause seems to be ignored (see the truncated output below). I'd
really like to use this in conjunction with the forthcoming LIMIT clause to get
TOP K functionality.
hive> SELECT t.* FROM t ORDER BY t.numfriends;
3 Whatever Dude 25
4 Sweet Guy 20
1 Jeff Hammerbacher 15
2 Teddy Roosevelt 20
