Someone could test those versions; alternatively, the hadoop team does its own 
release. In my work projects we have a bit of the SVN tree dedicated to local 
snapshots of things (including hadoop builds). As long as the license of JSON 
doesnt prevent it being put into Apache SVN, hadoop can do the same.
