The only one I know is to invoke the cleaner of the DirectBuffer (are you referring to that)? I can’t find any usage of sun.misc.Cleaner to create its own Cleaner (sun.misc.Cleaner was used in older version of JavaFX but AFAIK they are replaced with phantom references). Mandy
