But teeing (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tee_(command) <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tee_(command)>) is sort of what you’re doing so it sounds just fine. .. I’ve always thought it like tapping but this maybe less descriptive than split which of course would be confused with Spliterator. — Kirk
