Fully agree on servers and workstations. I'd personally love to see the community step up and fund the relatively small amount of remaining work required to completely free up the S822LC, for instance. On mobile, I disagree some. Mobile would be best handled with ARM64 devices; for typical mobile tasks (mostly content consumption / remote terminal access to some other server(s)) the additional bit of computing power x86 provides is not worth the tradeoff in loss of owner control. - -- Timothy Pearson Raptor Engineering +1 (415) 727-8645 (direct line) +1 (512) 690-0200 (switchboard) https://www.raptorengineering.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1 Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJYfT74AAoJEK+E3vEXDOFbqiMH/jnUdnw9JtdqG0rP4s+Bsbq7 N3WssE66pgukhegvwcQ9yv21rQTd/TtdoLdC/ADPwxWMTuPXcU26s3iW29N5wEao 9DA2BasHGl8du2+zYAFa2PjEA1jFAhto7wLFnarqBH7TPRwvS+xQ8gPrWbYduBEI Jcc0km7WRhDrAwHRTM5ib0YJ6nbqFts8WLF27sVi5UByp/s70v5thJnHLI3IiAix N4uvh/Ax2innlAnrRanKbmZGwk/yBEAE1PXf8T9gM2cSxY4JP+bJEUD0X74zHAja MigX4W9K5wOHtSgygxV/V1G/B3caziayquBVs7e1mqcrAdw489RMDWD7H1+/lJg= =g2Sg -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- coreboot mailing list: [email protected] https://www.coreboot.org/mailman/listinfo/coreboot
