it looks like coreboot is doing it's job. And it's not unlikely that it runs the wrong one. In the default configuration of coreboot, SeaVGA- BIOS is added for compatibility with the coreboot framebuffer (that you don't have because the external GPU made the primary one). In the "Devices" menu of coreboot, set "Graphics initialization" to "None". This should help in case SeaBIOS is using the wrong option ROM. However, if you remove the external GPU, not even the internal one will work during boot (it might be possible to add SeaVGABIOS in a way that doesn't confuse SeaBIOS, but I don't know enough about SeaBIOS to say how).
