Hello, I've compiled coreboot for my Lenovo M700 Tiny, to have other processor
support (Kaby Lake/Coffee Lake).
The ed2k payload works correctly, I can successfully boot a Kaby Lake and
Coffee lake CPU with Coreboot (original Lenovo BIOS is Skylake-only).
I report two annoying issues:
- wif card pci-e slot is not working, the card is not enumerated at all. ASPM
on or off, no difference (with ASPM ON I get continous AER errors in dmesg on
Linux). With original OEM BIOS the wifi (Intel 8260 wifi5 chipset) 100% works.
On coreboot I get only the bluetooth part working (I know it's on the USB bus,
so I think it's normal).
- I use libgfxinit for graphics part: works correctly at boot, Linux booting
always OK, but Windows 11 fails to initialize the displayport output i.e. it
gets TURNED OFF for some reason when windows starts. I have to unplug and plug
the cable back to have display back ON. This also does not happen with original
OEM firmware. Maybe I must use a GOP ? I could not find a clear guide on how to
compile/initialize coreboot w GOP into coreboot. Maybe I can run it into an
.efi binary (I have all .efi GOPs somewhere..) ?
