## Announcements & Events

Date: January 31 - February 01
## Late GMT coreboot Leadership Meeting Minutes
## Attendees
Werner Zeh, Matt DeVillier, Julius Werner, Mina Asante, Martin Roth, Alicja
Michalska.
## Minutes
### [Martin]: Stepping down from leadership and going back to the advisory
role.
* Julius Werner will take over from Martin at the start of February.
### [Martin] AI-automated reviews on gerrit
* Add a ‘reviewer’ to gerrit. It will not have +1 or +2 rights but will work
more like the checkpatch approach. The AI reviewer will make comments on a
given patch where the owner can take action on. Or it could even provide a
patch with the suggestion so that someone can adopt or use it. The account
(cursor-agent) will cost ~$60/month (pro version, $200 for ultimate version)
and can be set up by Martin.
* [Matt/Werner/Julius] Good idea, let’s do it and check out how it performs.
* [Martin] We need to keep an eye on our financial situation. We pay
~$1200/month for infrastructure with currently no regular income. This drains
our balance.
### [Julius] Current situation on the Boot Manager standard (EU-CRA)
* Julius and Werner participate in the meetings with ETSI and provide
feedback. So far it looks very promising.
## Early GMT coreboot Leadership Meeting Canceled
* No issues on the agenda.
# Next Leadership Meetings Date
* January 21, 2026.
* [coreboot Calendar](https://coreboot.org/calendar.html).
# Notice
Decisions shown here are not necessarily final and are based
on the current information available. If there are questions or comments
about decisions made, or additional information to present, please put
it on the leadership meeting agenda and show up if possible to discuss
it.
Of course items may also be discussed on the mailing list, but as it's
difficult to interpret tone over email, controversial topics frequently
do not have good progress in those discussions. For particularly
difficult issues, it may be best to try to schedule another meeting.
We now host two leadership meetings, one in early GMT and one in late GMT, to
better accommodate
participants from the Asian time zones.
Kindly note that both sessions use the same meeting notes and Google Meet link.
