Hi all, There are some interesting and inexpensive motherboards out there that appear to be re-manufactured and aimed at enthusiasts, placing E5 v3/v4 Xeons on boards with support for DDR3 (even ECC) and in microATX form factors. [1] They're quite inexpensive and seem attractive for the budget-conscious server enthusiast.
The catch is that there isn't support in coreboot for E5 Xeons in coreboot afaik, and I'm not sure if there are even the prerequisite firmware support bits available to get there. Is anyone able to shed light on this? -M [1] https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005012010772569.html
