+1 I'm facing the exact same issue - our hardware setup is extremely similar to the situation described by Andreas above (*Blade machines with no internal HDD's, booted from a SAN target*).
Containers provide excellent isolation, so I want to avoid adding any additional overhead in the form of a hypervisor (that could handle the mpath device) if there is a better way. Thanks!
