Correction: We cannot bump docker past 1.12.6 due to the lack of Kubernetes support [1]. Our longer term strategy is to use torcx [2] to allow users to specify the desired version of various tools. This will allow kubernetes to hold back docker at a supported version which will free us up to continue shipping the latest versions of docker. We are hoping to get experimental support into the OS in the next couple of weeks. -Alex [1]: https://github.com/coreos/bugs/issues/1930 [2]: https://github.com/coreos/torcx
