In my opinion, it's counterproductive to debate these kinds of proposals unless there are *concrete* use cases. So far, this seems to be "what if someone some day wants to do FOO for whatever reason and needs it to run super fast, so let's do a bunch of optimizations to support FOO". Can you provide a concrete and real-world example of why this is needed?
