I did
The result of the df -i command is:
Inodes       IUsed     IFree             IUse% Mounted on
7741440      312632   7428808       5%       /
327680000   5423377    322256623    2%       /media/volume/sdb

I am running the script in the "/media/volume/sdb" partition
I am expecting to generate 51,333,317 files
I have 322,256,623 inodes available

I clearly have enough inodes on the 'sdb' device but not on '/' (7,428,808)

Ideas?
