I see there was a discussion nearly 10 years ago about all the "noise" (entries for non-physical "mount points").  Since that time with Snaps and Flatpaks, the output has gotten even worse.

Rather than trying to include all of the exclusions in a single switch, couldn't a switch be added to only show actual, physical disks/partitions/volume group LVs? Personally I think that should be the default, but I recognize that would break various scripts and aliases for people.

The problem with making aliases to exclude these, or running alternate utilities, is that only works on your _own_ machines; if you have to administer other machines your aliases/alternative won't be there.  Perhaps a switch like "--po" ("physical only", although I could think of a different phrase to fit it).
