Duration: Long term Rate: $55/hr Location: LA, CA [Must have SUPPORT experience on windows / SQL servers and .NET applications] You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and administering project Windows-based applications such as IEE, NMS and ORS, with primary focus on IEE. This includes evaluating, analyzing problems/technical issues, testing, integrating, maintaining, modifying, monitoring and automating systems software. Typical responsibilities for this position include: configuring highly complex and highly visible integration points such as database connectivity and Web Server. Must Skills : 1 .This position will provide 24x7 operational support on Microsoft-based applications on the IT Infrastructure. Support will include the ability to write basic SQL scripts and the ability to manage application pools to ensure applications can scale to meet the demands of the business. 2. Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented such as modifying memory allocation to Web-based applications, isolating application processes that consume too many system resources and working with application teams to correct code or scale environment. 3. Perform maintenance work such as migrating bug fixes and maintenance patches for application software both in system test and production. Maintenance work will also include upgrading applications to new versions Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or the equivalent combination of formal education, training, and experience. * MCSE certification or equivalent * Must have six or more years' IT experience performing complex analysis, consulting, and providing recommendations. * Demonstrated experience in supporting Windows-based applications, with an emphasis on .NET applications. * Demonstrated experience writing basic SQL scripts. * Demonstrated integration experience with database connectivity, MQ, and SOAP. * Demonstrated experience with computer/network security, and operating systems, including WINDOWS, LAN/WAN internetworking, protocols such as TCP/IP and network perimeter protection. * Demonstrated experience applying application security such as hardening servers and SSL. * Demonstrated experience performing security related risk assessments and/or audits. * Proficient with PC applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Must demonstrate excellent business mastery, including the ability to integrate work across relevant areas, deliver services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks and safety appropriately, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers. * Must demonstrate strong personal mastery, including ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, communication, the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CorptoCorp" group.
