Current with the latest and upcoming Hardware and Software from HP, Sun, Dell, IBM, Oracle, Red Hat, VMWare, and F5. Designed/Architected and implement fault tolerant systems for Databases. Designed/Architected and Highly Available Databases. Designed/Architected replication for Databases across WANs. Understand the latest Oracle, MSQL, DB2, etc to design the up and coming databases to use the latest features and product sets. Participated or Lead non-functional specification gathering for design, capacity planning, and performance predictions. Ability to lead engineers in understanding new processes for databases as it applies to all preproduction and production environments.
