Oracle DBA Located in Omaha, NE 6 month contract to hire Pay is 50/hr This position is responsible for managing all Oracle database environments throughout the business ensuring stability, availability, and high performance. Also includes the planning, coordination, and implementation of projects on time, within budget and with quality. *Duties -* * Installation, configuration, upgrading, patching, and support of all Oracle databases. * Ensures high availability and disaster recovery of all Oracle databases * Develops, manages, confirms, and tests all backup and recovery practices * Proactive monitoring of databases 24x7 and working with other teams in support cases. * Continually tunes the database for performance and supports the Oracle development teams with PL/SQL tuning. * Provides refreshes to non-production environments on a scheduled and/or demand basis. * Responsible for establishing and enforcing best practices and service level agreements. * Assists the Infrastructure team with capacity planning, compliance, and security. * Works closely with the Oracle Applications Admin to provide a high available, top performing Oracle EBS environment. *Requirements -* * 3 or more years managing Oracle databases on Linux * 2 plus years managing RAC environments * Experience with Dataguard * Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills. * Self-starter and detail oriented * Experience managing multiple Oracle database environments including, but not limited to: - Installation, configuration, upgrading, patching, support, backup recovery, cloning, monitoring, tuning, refreshing, troubleshooting, and debugging. *Also should have experience in -* - Oracle E-Business Suite - Linux - RMAN - Grid Control - Quest Foglight - Oracle Support (SR's) Sareen Bhaskaran Resource Manager Prosoft Cyberworld Group 630-371-0530 ext 145 sar...@prosoftcyberworld.com YAHOO IM: sareen_prosoftcyberworld PLEASE MARK A CC TO recruitersar...@gmail.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CorptoCorp" group.
