The responsibilities of this position include the following: * The successful candidate will be someone who has strong analytical skills, exercises good judgment, is self-motivated and is able to work effectively as part of a team * Ability to delivering new enhancements to the production environments through a certification and test process * Supports end users with access and customized views using MySites * Manages several internal and external SharePoint farms * Manages global rights and permissions regarding the WSS sites * Monitors portal usage including access, load, and usability, issues on a daily basis * Enforce site standards (layouts, security processes, etc.) to ensure that governance policies and processes are maintained * Ensure the integrity and security of SharePoint data in accordance with business requirements regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance *Requirements:* This role will fulfill specific highly specialized functions. Experience in setting up the servers in a load-balanced and clustered environment is a must. The administrator should be able to scale the solution to the needs of operational requirements of the system. Application delivery, network and infrastructure background is a must. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Strong knowledge of SharePoint 2007 * Ability to load balance and cluster the front-end production MOSS servers * Ability to create and maintain several environments for the developers * Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Network and Security Principles * Knowledge of MOSS 2007, IIS 5.0/6.0, WSS 3.0, SQL 2008, .Net, Web Services, .Net Framework and Application Security Vulnerabilities * Ability to read ASP, .ASP, .Net, C#, Java, and VB Code and basic scripting ability in VB Script and/or PowerShell * Analyze SharePoint, server, application, network, and input/output device performance * Ability to create SharePoint site templates with custom libraries and lists * Proficiency using SharePoint Designer * Experience installing SharePoint and deploying custom SharePoint solutions (webparts, sites, features) * Building and deploying Microsoft InfoPath 2007 forms solutions *Preferred Experience:* 3+yrs of Microsoft SharePoint administration 2003/2007 Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field Designing and setting up a external load-balanced web farm Building Microsoft SQL 2008 queries, stored procedures, and views Experience with backup/restore Experience upgrade and deploying SharePoint 2010 Experience in use of the Visual Studio .NET toolset, configuration of the .NET framework, developing and deploying web services, configuring and assessing Internet Information Server (IIS), and developing and writing applications design and configuration documents Must have excellent Communication Skills with Positive Attitude. *Send your resumes only to [email protected]* DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL *Important Note:* * * · *There will be a face to face interview after the telephonic round.* · *Locals will be given preference.
