Full Name: Skill: Contact: Email-id: Relevant experience: Rate: Availability: Relocation: Visa Status: Current Location & time Zone *Need Only local to VA* Location - Richmond, VA Design a database model to electronically track details of the new curriculum • Implement a flexible security model to enable course directors and medical school administration to update and access curriculum information relevant to their role • Tag each curriculum element with one or more MeSH keywords • Track planned redundancies • Track assessments associated with each curriculum element to measure competence • Search the curriculum database by keyword and return “groupings” in which the requested topic was covered, along with assessment methods used to measure students’ competency on the topic • Implement an interface with Unified Medical Library System (UMLS) API to provide advanced search capabilities by automatically adding synonyms and related terms to the search criteria • Develop XML feed to populate curriculum data into AAMC’s CurrMIT (Curriculum Management and Information Tool) System • Develop a checklist for tracking orphan topics covered in the old curriculum • Develop or implement a third-party crawler application to index keywords found in PDFs, PowerPoint files, and Word documents posted on the course management website, eCurriculum. The specific requirements for the project are subject to change based on the evolving needs of the new curriculum.
