*Overview:*
Provides Oracle applications DBA skills and should be able to perform
typical day to day DBA activities and database guidance. Looking for someone
with hands on DBA experience with Oracle 10g, *particularly in migrations of
Oracle 10g to 11i environments. *
* Requirements:*
1. Must have *Minimum 3-5 yrs experience in Oracle 10g & 11i*
a. Oracle 10g to Oracle 11 migration experience
b. Solaris, Redhat, Oracle 9i/10g, Oracle SQL Developer, PL/SQL, VB,
ASP, Java 5, JEE 5 spec, and Scripting Language
2. Lead small team or independently implemented complex designs for
distributed systems
a. Knowledge of full system lifecycle development methodologies
b. Knowledge of and experience in applying Enterprise Application
Architecture design patterns
3. Must be able to perform database administration activities on
Servers including:
*a.** **Oracle database administration *
i. HEAVY PERFORMANCE
/System Tuning (Stats, database instance, indexes, parallelism, other DB
parameters)
ii. Creating/Maintaining
stored procedures
iii. Capacity Planning
iv. Process Transition
Planning
v. Query
Optimization
b. Install and test Oracle database software to support the
enterprise architecture.
c. Install and test database software changes and version updates
through system integration and regression tests.
d. Perform programming in Application development, Software Design,
Analysis, maintenance, Documentation and Implementation
e. Ensure proper security authorizations have been granted
4. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.
5. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and
effective communicator
6. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of
this project.
