* *SAP Project Manager* Rate: DOB Need ASAP Duration -1 yr Location - Greater Philadelphia, PA Type- Contract *POSITION SUMMARY:* Under the general direction of the Director – BT PMO, develops, refines, validates and manages project plans to ensure on time and on budget delivery of the Order to Cash project within the Business Transformation program. Responsible for supporting needs of the SAP Process and Technical Leads through the development of project management methods, standards, project integration, as well as the coordination of all internal and external resources. *PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* 1. Provides timely and concise communications to functional leadership regarding project status and pending issues; analyzes processes and makes recommendations for optimizing resources and product delivery. 2. Develops project plans based on specifications provided by the Portfolio Management staff and manages effective execution of the initiatives. 3. Builds consensus among multiple process leads relative to project scope, task execution, staffing and issue resolution. 4. Brokers services within IT and Company vendors on behalf of the business area represented. 5. Provides overall financial direction for the projects to manage the development of budgets, controls and measurements to monitor project progress. 6. Identifies potential risks within the project; proactively manages issues. 7. Participates in identifying project costs, resource allocation, project schedule changes and issue escalation. 8. Frequently interacts with IT staff including business area management, portfolio managers, vendors, consultants and other contractors. 9. Performs related duties as assigned. *EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:* Requires some training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor’s Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education; PMI certification or equivalent project management methodology training and hours. Requires full project life cycle and team leadership experience with large-scale SAP implementations.
