You will be responsible for upgrades, performance monitoring, RAC installations, Data guard, diagnosing system problems, disaster recovery testing and maintaining user accessibility. In addition, you will act as a technical resource for IT applications in specific business group Additional Skills: Installation of database software and related products Strong experience in developing and maintaining relational databases including backup/recovery procedures is required Production support experience with large databases Experience with database warehouses, clustering, mirroring and disaster recovery strategies Minimum of five years of experience Experience in performance monitoring and tuning Experience in logical and physical database design Knowledge of other database management systems and VMWARE will be a plus.
