>From a company standpoint, if they have had experience with any companies
that produce either Analytics or Content Sets such as Research, Estimates,
Fundamentals, Economics, Deals, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of both infrastructure and development....from a PM viewpoint.
Ideally I'd like to see someone with more experience with such items listed
below (but don't get super hung up on any one item)
Web services (xml over http, soap, etc) for external consumption or
external-facing web sites/products they've delivered into the data center
Working with multiple inbound data feeds from vendors, clients, etc...
integrating those feeds and/or delivering outbound feeds (real-time, ftp end
of day, etc...)
Experience with projects which consumed from multiple databases of record
Search technologies
MS SQL server migrations; SQL backup/restore strategies
Job scheduling solutions like 'Tidal' used for file production, moving
files, etc.
Data center live/live, live standby implementations
Load balancing technologies (either Cisco CSS or other software oriented
approaches)
Virtualization
Various monitoring technologies (IBM, HP, GMI)
Networking architecture considerations in implementing all of the above
Secondly, our PMs spend up to 50% of their time working with Development at
certain phases of our project. It is hardly an Ops-only-centric PM
experience. So please continue with those candidates that have that have
worked among different levels within Development, Ops engineers, Command
Center staff, DBA, Customer Support, other business and development PMs,
etc...
To put it in more PM--bulleted terms, they would work on driving or
contributing to the following milestones---
Confirming Engineering Resources & Budget
Participating in technical Whiteboards with development and PMO to
assimilate the architectural requirements that they'll later deliver
Reviewing technical architecture documentation and HW kit lists
Participating in both technical and business commitment reviews
Delivering HW Available in Production (ensuring space & power, rack & stack,
structured cabling, procurement of HW, OS install)
Driving project until application software Installed in Production
Ensuring that Monitoring & Documentation is ccompleted by engineers
Ensuring that Operational Acceptance Testing is Completed and Satisfactory
Confirming that a Support Model exists for new deployments
Ensuring that all deficiencies are documented, mitigated, etc before of the
start of production operational use
Participating and representing Ops to the business in Fitness for Launch
reviews.

   Thanks and Regards. .
