REQUIREMENTS: WebSphere Commerce Server (WCS) v6.0 or later with expertise on all core modules (Store mgmt, product catalog, order mgmt, checkout, etc.) Experience of integrating WCS with WebSphere Portal Server, SAP, etc. Strong in Java/J2EE, Web Services, XML Past experience of implementing end-2-end eCommerce solutions using WCS Integration of Web Content Management tool with Product Catalog management module of WCS Upgrade of WCS from older version to v6.x or v7.x Analyze business requirements and map it to technical design Prepare high level and low level design following best practices Evaluate design/architecture from scalability, security, performance perspective Provide technical guidance to the implementation team Review developed/customized modules Carry out effort estimation Prepare migration strategy for migrating eCommerce solution from non-WCS platform to WCS platform Thanks and Regards. .
