We have an urgent requirement for *PMP Certified Project Manager with one of our client in Bay Area,CA** * Location: Palo Alto,CA Duration: 6 months Interview: Telephonic and F2F both Please send resume to *[email protected]* Sr Project Manager ü Manage the development and implementation process of projects involving departmental, vendor relationships, and/or cross-functional teams. ü Work with internal/external clients to gather business requirements and coordinate project plans. ü Drive multiple projects from initiation through delivery ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints. ü Develop, forecast, and manage overall project budget. ü Ensure that goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives. ü Monitors project activities ensuring the currency, quality, and integrity of the information, and providing consistency in content and 'look and feel' across the enterprise. ü Identifies new methods and procedures for coordinating the activities of employees on a cross-functional project team, and reviews recommendations for feasibility. ü Select and form the project team. ü Plan, design, develop, and implement enhancements to project management processes to improve efficiency and quality of output. Coordinates multiple projects that may span across various departments. ü Establishes plans and schedules for entire projects, and keeps management informed of deviations from plans and schedules. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to find the best solutions, assess impact of decisions on each of the functional areas and propose resolutions. ü Ensures adherence to SDLC processes, demonstrates high level understanding of VMware business processes. ü Manages project budgets/resources. ü Have the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment. ü *Be a self starter who requires little supervison. ü *Feel comforatble communicating to all levels of personnel from project team members to Senior IT Executives. -------------------- *• Specific knowledge* – *industry and/or technical knowledge**:*** Ø 4+ years of project management experience; Ø good understanding of IT development and operations. Ø Knowledge of one or more business processes. *Education and years of experience:* Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
