An ideal candidate, at a high level, would be proficient with the following skills and would not need additional related training: - Experience with writing to vendor Application Programming Interfaces. - Proficiency with computer programming (specially, JSON, XML, PHP, and Web Services) and environments (specially, LAMP, App Server development tools, and the Eclipse IDE). - Ability to do basic set up and configure an application server such as Tomcat and various related software & services. - Ability to use database APIs, in an App server and/or scripting environment. - Ability to develop database front ends, using various tools such as Smarty and/or other database Application Server development tools. - Ability to write users manuals and similar documents well. - Ability to write concise reports about test results and metrics (both spreadsheets and documents). - Proficiency in or ability to learn and utilize concepts related to messaging systems, SMS, MMS and voicemail.
