Location: NC Duration: 6 Months Send resume on *[email protected]* *LIMS exp. is required* Agronomic Division is seeking an experienced software developer (short term contractor approx. 6 months) to continue custom development of a Web/Windows based Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for the Agronomic Division’s six laboratories (Nematology, Plant, Waste, Solution, Media, and Soil Testing). *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:** REQUIRED:* • Minimum of five (5) years experience in a Visual Basic.NET software development environment • Bachelors degree in an Information Technology related field • Microsoft certified in software development • Excellent communication, planning and organization skills Ability To: • Translate non-technical user requirements into a technical format • Communicate technical concepts to technical staff and non-technical business users • Develop positive business customer relationships and • Preferred: Software development experience 1) in implementation of a similar solution with similar complexity, and 2) with other North Carolina Agencies.
