*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:***
REQUIRED:
• Minimum (ten) 10 years experience supporting firewall implementations
• Minimum (five) 5 years of advanced experience (specifically operationally
supporting Cisco ASA firewalls)
• Proficient design, implementation and operational support of Cisco ASA
firewalls in an enterprise and data center environment
• Moderate familiarity with all network technologies and equipment,
particularly data center LAN/VLAN environments
• Experience with structured change management processes
• Ability to manage tasks and meet schedules
• Must have good organizational and English communication skills both
written and oral
• Must have excellent customer service and teamwork skills

EXPERIENCE SUPPORTING:*
• Cisco MARS, ACS and CSM
• Avaya (Nortel) LAN switching and WLAN products
• Citrix Netscaler VPN
• Exchange Email and Calendar with Outlook client
*
**PREFERRED:*
• Currently active CCSP (Cisco Certified Security Professional)
certification, or expiration within past 1 year
• Currently active CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert) Security
certification, or expiration within past 5 years
• Experience with PCI compliance
• ITIL familiarity
• VMware ESX/ESXi familiarity
• Experience in a Government environment
