Network Security Consultant***

Duties will include the following:
• Initial setup of the Cisco ASA5540 Active/Passive Cluster running ASA IOS
v 8.3(2)
• Conversion of existing access rules, VPN rules and configuration, address
translations, objects, routes, and all other configuration setting from
Checkpoint NGX R70 to Cisco ASA IOS version 8.3(2) code.
• Verification that all items were converted correctly.
• Create any access rules, VPN rules and configuration, address
translations, objects, routes, and all other configuration setting for the
ASA IOS 8.3(2) code that do not convert correctly.
• Optimize the configuration on the Cisco ASA5540 for both performance and
security according to industry best practices.
• Setup and perform initial configuration and tuning of the ASA-SSM-20 IPS
on each 5540.
*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:*
REQUIRED:
• Intimate knowledge of Cisco ASA IOS 8.3 or above.
• Working knowledge of Checkpoint NGX or above.
• Working knowledge of Cisco IPS systems.
• Must hold current Cisco CCNP – Security certification (preferred) or Cisco
CCIE certification
