Duration: 6 months Location: Columbia, South Carolina Please send resume on [email protected] This position is for an architect to assist in management of infrastructure migration and consolidation. Candidate will be responsible for technical analysis and management of projects including the migration and consolidation of a state agency data center. *Position tasks will include:* • Requirement Development • Test system configuration, installation, and deployment • User Acceptance Testing • System migration: MS Exchange, SMS, GIS, SQL Server, and others • Historical Data Import • Parallel Testing • Production system configuration, installation, and deployment • Production system support • Ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement implementation *Architect responsibilities include:* • Directing and manage project development from beginning to end. • Defining project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals • Effectively communicating project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. • Liaising with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. • Estimating the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. • Setting and continually managing project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. • Delegating tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. • Identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path. • Tracking project milestones and deliverables. • Developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. • Determining the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyzing results, and troubleshooting problem areas. • Proactively managing changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devising contingency plans. *Candidate must have:* • Experience implementing ITIL standard process • Server consolidation experience using virtual technologies • Managed a large data center migration • Relational database experience • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with systems integration methods and technologies • Demonstrated experience in performing complex analysis, consulting and providing recommendations to both internal and external clients • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with business processes, cross business unit initiatives, System Development Life Cycle and best practices of quality management • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills • Possess strong leadership skills and the ability to providing direction to cross-functional teams responsible for resolution of complex technical challenges -- Thanks & Regards Jitendra Ramani IT Technical Recruiter TGCL(Tech Global Consulting Lines,LLC) Clovis,California Ph:559-765-0474 (Direct) 925-353-3884 FAX: 559-325-7911 Email: [email protected] visit us: www.tgclonline.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CorptoCorp" group.
