Lead efforts to assess feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with all corporate platforms/systems and related capabilities. · Create and maintain standards, usage examples and training materials for all technologies within the technology roadmap for use by the development organization. Standards and examples will demonstrate concrete implementation specifications while training materials may include self-directed examples, live webcasts, group presentations or pre-recorded materials. · Work with the Configuration Management team to execute the designs we create in a repeatable and sustainable manner using tools and technologies that automate the process where possible. · Assist with high-urgency issues affecting production systems in a time-critical manner while expediting root cause analysis and communicating appropriate remediation activities to development teams. * *** *QUALIFICATIONS:*** College degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience 5+ years experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level tiered deployments of web servers and J2EE containers (Apache/Client, WebSphere, WebSphere Portal, Tomcat, and Mule) · 5+ years experience working in Unix/Linux-based environments Experience migrating applications from AIX to Linux or from closed source to open source offerings · Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills · Experience automating repetitive or error prone tasks using scripts or frameworks Ability to clearly communicate and present to large audiences · Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project deadlines Wide breadth of mentoring within IT and Business on technology trends An expectation to continuously learn and implement new tools, applications, technologies Please send resume, rate confirmation, current location and contact details *all in one email.* Thanks for your help!
