Our direct client has the following requirement for *a Senior Database
Architect*. The position will be responsible for collecting user
requirements, creating the physical & logical data models, creating/testing
the Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) process and aiding in validation of the
data mart & reports.
Location: Augusta, Maine
Duration: 15 months
Initial Phone interviews are OK but client would like a F2F with final
candidate.
3 references are required.
Required skills and experience
- 8 plus years of database architecture experience
- 4 year college degree in computer science or related field with
advanced study preferred.
- Strong Communication/Interpersonal skills
- PL/SQL - 6 Years
- Oracle 9-11g - 6 Years
- SQL Server - 2 Years
- Data Warehousing - 3 Years
- Exp creating Physical & Logical data models - 3 Years
- Requirements & Design - 6 Years
- Dimensional DBs - 3 Years
Highly desired skills:
- OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) - 3 Years
- ETL utilizing PL/SQL as primary ETL tool - 3 Years
Skills that are Nice to have:
- SAS - 1 Year
Desired Skills:
- Database - mixed platform - 3 Years
