Knowledge of both Microsoft and Linux environment, expert in one platform. Fluent in web application and web hosting operations technology, concepts and dialect. Assertive, proactive, innovative, collaborative, and driven to achieve desired results. Ability to work under pressure and respond to changing demands. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent team player that is flexible and can execute on assigned tasks, adjust to changing business priorities and plans. Effectively manage multiple tasks at any given time and communicate status to management and stakeholders Deploy and managed multi-tiered web applications in Linux and Microsoft Windows environments, spanning 2 data centers and over 2,000 servers. Interface with customers to understand requirements and deliver timely support. Troubleshoot problems that may involve applications and networks. Monitoring performance to identify and help resolve hosting or application issues. Apply appropriate tools to analyze, identify and resolve technical problems. Provide support after hours and during early morning maintenance window as needed. Follow/adapt quality control procedures to assure flawless deployments. Other responsibilities as needed such as operating system patching, internal system support, account management, documentation and auditing.
