The candidate will perform modification and integration of the internal web-based Special Education components developed in MS.NET <http://ms.net/> The ideal candidate will be extremely knowledgeable in the latest and most efficient ASP .NET tools available on the market and will be able to add significant “hands on” technical leadership throughout the entire SDLC. This is a high-visibility project with aggressive deadlines and challenging technical requirements. Candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to come up with innovative solutions to complex technical problems. There will be potential to learn new technologies and influence the design and development of Enterprise Architecture. The Sr. Integration Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: · Reverse engineer and understand the existing codebase developed in .NET 1.0 and 1.1 · Work with the Agency product team to understand the critical integration points · Analyze business users’ needs to design, construct, and test the enhancements to existing systems · Document the technical specifications and work with the Agency PM to drive acceptance of the same · Design and build integration components using industry standard design patterns with an eye to reusability · Coordinate changes to the Agency data systems as required for either interim migration and/or ongoing integration · Provide weekly updates to the Agency WS Lead and IT PM for assigned activities · Escalate critical technical issues and potential problems as needed to the Agency Project Manager to address any technical related issues in advance of deadlines.
