*Requirements:***
Ø Understanding of Data Modeling techniques and best practices
Ø In-depth knowledge of relational data model and dimensional data
model
Ø Must have strong T-SQL programming skills and experiences to support
our data warehouse (SQL Server 2000) such as converting SQL Server 2000 DTS
packages into Stored Procedures, creating tables/views/indexes, extract
data, transform data, load data, and bulk copy data with T-SQL scripts
Ø MS SQL Server 2000 and Data Warehouse experiences are required
Ø Excellent communication skills
Ø Experience with Hyperion 8/9, OBIEE, VB and Oracle PL/SQL programming
is a plus (not required)
Essential Functions:
Ø Developing the ETL processes from the data sources to data warehouse
staging and reporting database
Ø Serving as the primary FedACH Data Warehouse ETL developer
Ø Work with Business Analysts and business/technical customers to
understand data warehouse and reporting requirements
Ø Provide technical work estimates and task breakdown
Ø Participate in peer code reviews and provide support to QA/Prod
during the test/migration process
Ø Work closely with BI developers, and Architect for data cleansing,
transformation and aggregation based on the data model for the data
warehouse reporting systems
Ø Support architecture efforts by following and adhering to the
standards set forth by the architecture group and maintain the integrity of
application architecture
Ø Maintain data integration, data distribution and correct issues as
they arise
*Experience:***
Ø Experienced in SQL Server 2000 include MS SQL Server 2000 Analysis
Services (OLAP)
Ø Experience with MS Windows platform and UNIX/Linux Operating System
Ø 5+ years experience in application development working with MS SQL
Server
Ø 5+ years experience with T-SQL programming
*Education:***
Ø BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
