REQUIREMENTS: Will work on-site with a client to provide maintenance and provisioning support for a large Citrix XenApp and a large Citrix XenDesktop environment. The candidate should have experience implementing and operating Citrix XenApp farms of version 5.0 or greater and experience supporting Citrix XenDesktop deployments of version 4.0 or greater. Experience ideally consists of deployments of 1000 users or greater. Activates will include assisting in the virtualization of existing physical XenApp servers Managing lease replacement activity - either via virtualization or replacement servers Perform application upgrades on citrix XenApp servers and terminal servers Manage security patch deployments to citrix XenApp servers and terminal servers Assist with XenDesktop 5.5. upgrade activates, specifically deployment of updated VDA agents. 5+ years supporting IT infrastructure initiatives at an engineering level.
