Forward resumes to a...@softcominc.net JOB TITLE: QA Analyst (2 positions) LENGTH: 3months(It can extendable) Rate: $40/hr onC2C LOCATION: Port Washington, NY (Outside of New York City) Job Responsibilities : QA Analyst well experienced in functional, performance and automation using HP Quick Test Professional (QTP) to test multiple web based and window based software applications. • Conducts Software Quality Assurance (SQA) test execution of web-based and window based software applications. Interacts with the members of the development team and the customers to ensure that product is delivered with high-quality and support during the maintenance phase. • Participates in the analysis of requirements and specifications necessary to create test scripts. Reviews functional specifications for completeness and assists in developing test plans to ensure the requirements and design are efficiently translated into test cases. • Collaborates in developing and maintaining software test plans and scripts in accordance with current Quality Assurance procedures and methodologies to accurately describe test scope and test schedules. • Performs testing of interactive web applications including functional and regression testing. This includes performing manual testing which focuses on end-to-end testing and checks application response and output to ensure compliance with system requirements as outlined in the requirements document. • Conducts positive/negative testing and performs accessibility tests for different user types depending on their roles and access or administrative privileges. • Contributes to the preparation of the test data, writes and executes basic SQL queries to check the data requirements and output. .Net experience • Identifies and reports software defects and test findings using Bug Tracker and provide the management with periodical reports. • Establishes severity of the defects, gathers quality statistics, and interacts with members of the development team to efficiently resolve the defects. • Authors functional test plans, test cases, test data and any other document necessary to finalize testing. Documentation may include documentation of flows within the application to demonstrate test approach and paths through the system. • Authors automation test scripts using QTP and execution of the same and recording the results.
