Title: QA- Tester (Performance Tester) (In-Person required)

Location: Rensselaer, NY

Note : GCS or CITIZENS only.

Duration: 12 months

Rate   : $50/hr on C2C base

Description:

This individual will assist in the use of automated testing tools to ensure the

logic supporting the development efforts meet specified performance

outcomes/metrics. The individual will be responsible for creating test scripts,

performing load tests and analyzing test results.



The individual selected is expected to possess (amongst others) the
following skills:

* Knowledge and understanding of the development activities of large
scale projects

* System wide vision - the ability to see how the parts interact with the whole

("big picture" visionary)

* Ability to articulate and communicate complex technical issues in a way that

non-technical individuals can understand

* Exceptional interpersonal and mentoring skills

* Should be customer service orientated



The following activities are indicative of the assignments/outcomes
expected of this

individual:

* Developing appropriate system documentation,

* Support/participate in product test activities.

* Assist in the use of automated testing tools to ensure the logic
supporting the

development efforts meet specified performance outcomes/metrics

* Responsible for creating test scripts, performing load tests and
analyzing test

results



Mandatory Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) and three years
related field or

six years direct experience in IT software development.



Desirable Experience:

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

* It is desired that the candidate have four (4) years experience
working directly

with customers and application developers in creating automated test plans.

* It is desired that the candidate have four (4) years experience
working directly

with customers and application developers, performing product,
integration and user

tests while using an automated testing tool.

* It is desired that the candidate have five (5) years experience developing

LoadRunner scripts within an integrated large complex Client Server application

using VB and, in part, interacting with FCP version 4.1 (Foundation for

   Cooperative Processing) modules.

* It is desired that the candidate have five (5) years experience
working within a

LoadRunner environment and reporting LoadRunner systems metrics

* It is desired that the candidate have two (2) years experience
writing test plans,

test scripts and automated test modules that will exercise WCF and WPF
components

within the .Net or later framework.

* It is desired that the candidate have two (2) years experience
writing test plans,

test scripts and automated test modules that will test components that link .Net

architecture to the existing FCP (Foundation for Cooperative

   Processing) modules to ensure functionality is correctly developed.

* It is desired that the candidate have four (4) years experience
working within a

SACWIS (Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System) based
system as part

of the Application Development organization.
