*Job description*



·         Internal & External Domain Name Services (DNS)

·          IP Services

·         Access Control System (ACS) that supports all wireless
authentication

·         Disaster Recovery testing of DNS and IP services throughout the
test windows

·         Cisco Network Port Lockdown (NPL), the External Vendor Access
(EVA), and the Secure Vendor Access (SVA) systems and infrastructure.

·         Provides production support post implementation and resolves
break/fix issues in accordance with SLA guidelines; manages a particular
function.

·         Performs troubleshooting and systems analysis.

·         Performs incident management tasks (e.g., documenting issues,
associated root causes and work intake)

·         Provides 24x7 production support on a rotational or as-needed
basis

·         Creates updated solutions, frequently asked question (FAQ) and
training documents



*Qualifications:*

·         Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree

·         4+ Years of experience with DNS DHCP support

·         2+ years experience MacAfee Proxy

·         2+ years experience Diamond IP appliances

·         2+ years experience troubleshooting WAN, LAN and Wireless issues.

·         2+ years experience with Cisco IOS and CLI commands.

·         2 + years experience working with ticketing systems and IT issues
tracking mechanisms

·         2 + years experience using network tools (NetQoS, HPOV Network
Node Manager, CiscoWorks …)

·         Juniper Firewall is a plus

*Preferred Skills:*

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the
ability to interact positively with peers, managers, customers, and service
providers (Sprint, AT&T, BT, Cisco,).

·         Must be self-directed with independent problem-solving ability
and basic documentation skills

·         Experience documenting work performed real time while
troubleshooting

·         Must be self-directed with independent problem-solving ability
and basic documentation skills.

·         Technical training preferred.
