Job Role: Level 3 Oracle functional Support Manager

Duration: 6 months

Location: St. Louis, MO and candidate MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMM. SKILLS



Minimum Requirements:

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

•             Five plus years related working experience on Oracle
applications implementation or support.

•             In-depth functional knowledge of two or more of the following
Oracle R12 modules: Financials, Order Management/ Procurement,
Manufacturing,

•             Written and verbal proficiency in English and Good written
and verbal communication skills

•             Previous consulting experiences of implemented or supported
multiple Oracle Applications projects.

•             Experience with the technical implementation of Oracle
Application and related tools a plus

EDUCATION/LANGUAGE

•             Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related



Description:

BASIC FUNCTION

Provide high quality Functional Oracle application support to North America
customers group. Specific emphasis will be on Oracle Financials , Order
Management, Procurement and Manufacturing .

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

•             Provide day-to-day functional “how to” support in a Service
Desk environment for Oracle Application Systems

•             Triage incidents providing timely resolution of application
issues as well as problem resolution, ensure the high quality support be
delivered and commit to the pre-defined SLA.

•             Coordinate with the other parties within Emerson Corp IT
(e.g. DBA team , unix team, network team…) and also the 3rd party vendor
(e.g. Oracle, Noetix, …) to provide the total issue resolution

•             Log, support and manage Oracle Service Request to drive to
closure incidents and problems with application functionality.

•             Work with Asia based team members to continuously improve the
support processes to get total customer satisfaction.

•             Manage the project request / enhancement request from North
America user group

•             Explore new functionality available in the Oracle EBS suite
and determine fit to the business needs

•             Provide strong functional knowledge/support to the Oracle EBS
implementation projects

•             Plan, lead and actively participate in design, configuration
and testing of Oracle Application and ensure  Emerson standards compliance

•             Identify leverage opportunities and maintain the project
document responsibility
