Title: Oracle Financial R12/11i Server/DB 10g/11i Contract Duration: 18+ months Location: Long Island City, New York Face to face required. US Citizens or GC Holders only! Minimum Requirements: - Minimum 5 years of experience as Oracle Applications DBA. - Experience with Release 11i/R12 version of Oracle Applications and 10g/11i Oracle Application Server. - Experience in maintaining/installing and patching of Oracle Application 11i/R12 in Sun Solaris environment. - Extensive experience with managing concurrent managers, printer configuration, managing users, troubleshooting, & performance issues. - Demonstrate proficiency in administering multiple Oracle E-Business Suite environments on SAN Storage for development, testing, quality assurance. - Experience with Oracle Discoverer - Knowledge of Sybase and Oracle Gateway is desirable. - Extensive experience and expertise in Oracle database server installations, migration, upgrades, capacity planning, performance tuning, backup/recovery, performance oriented design, application development, data modeling, physical/logical design, RMAN etc. - Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts with in depth knowledge and experience on database upgrade. Extensive experience in using OEM 12c to evaluate and monitor database performance, table space, storage, database healthy check and carry out database optimization. - Extensive UNIX background required-Minimum 5 years experience with Oracle on UNIX, Shell Scripting preferably in a Sun Solaris environment. - Work with software vendors/consultants/programmers/analysts to ensure that the technical requirements are met in each development/testing environment. - 4-year college degree in Computer Science or related field, and a minimum of 5 years working experience. - Excellent written and communication skills. Description: - Install and upgrade Oracle Financial application R12 and 11i server and application database server (10g/11i) as per business requirement. - Responsible for support and manage nightly backup, database/object recovery, disaster recovery and other database administration tasks using various scripts and Oracle utilities (such as SQL loader, imports/exports, data pump). This included writing UNIX/SQL scripts and procedures to automate the process. - Performs periodic assessment and evaluates Oracle Financial Application Server or third party products and development tools. Provide management with recommendations for upgrades and maintenance to ensure Oracle application Server is running optimally. - Responsible for planning, designing, coordinating and administration Oracle 10g/11i application database Server, including database definition, structure, documentation, standard, backup and recovery strategy. - Provide day-to-day production Oracle Application server and Oracle database server administration, performing troubleshooting in various systems including Oracle Financial Applications 11i, Oracle Discoverer and others. - Follow and enforce IT Operations database policies and procedures. - Efficiently complete all assigned DBA requests. - Must be a team playe -- Thanks & Regards, *Naveen Krishna* Cloudeeva, Inc.
