*Position: Business Systems Analyst * *Location: Princeton, NJ * *Duration: 6+ Months * *In-person Interview MUST. * *Ideal candidate for this position ( Someone who is from programming background / Someone who has working on JAVA, XML projects has a Business Systems Analyst ) * *Responsibilities:* The ideal candidates for Business Analyst will be responsible for: Participating in design/architecture meetings to document design decisions and to cross check with requirements. Acting as a liaison between clients and development departments, the business analyst shall distinguish requests from needs. Facilitate and co-ordinate with users and other related groups to drive discussions and negotiate a workable solution for production issues. Applying industry standard analysis, documentation techniques, including Use Cases where appropriate, to assist in providing optimum solutions. IBIS Systems Analysis Efforts – Document Functional Requirements, Technical Specifications/Requirements, Test Conditions document, Non-Functional Requirements where applicable. Modify Business requirements if required. Perform unit testing and document results. Demonstrating strong problem solving ability, logic, and analytical skills. Strong written and oral communication skills are a must. Work well in a high-pressure environment and ability to multi-task. Identifying, documenting and implementing continued improvements to operations and maintenance processes. Provide day-to-day mentoring for less experienced team members, maintaining team spirit and a positive attitude. Performing comprehensive preliminary testing and producing all entrance criteria documentation required to promote products under development to Software Test (SQA). Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The ideal candidates must have at least 6 - 8 years of progressively diverse systems analysis, documentation and testing experience using Web and XML technologies. The person must demonstrate strong knowledge and experience with the responsibilities outlined above. The candidates must have experience with technologies as listed below. Experience with Sybase Power Designer tool for documentation. Experience with Oracle SQL and SQL Developer. Ideal candidate must be experienced in writing simple to medium complexity SQL queries. Experience with MS Visio and similar tools to document deployment diagrams and use cases. Familiarity in web technologies such as XHTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Apache, AJAX, Hibernate and SOAP Is desirable. Familiarity and Experience with XML. Experience in reading object oriented application code developed using Java/J2EE technologies. Familiarity with pure J2EE and Java technologies is must. Good interpersonal skills in order to interact with clients, technical staff, and third parties.
