*Job Overview:*
Works under direct supervision from the Manager AMS - IT Operations.
Service Owner and SMEs - Game Development Infrastructure Services (GDIS)
- Engage and work amongst offshore team supporting GDIS applications and
infrastructure.
- Understand enhancements and bug fixes as requested by application owner
- Support and Manage majorly Web applications in the production
environment
- Understanding of IT operations processes such as Incident, Change,
Problem Management processes
- Document tools and practices and participate actively in knowledge
sharing processes. Share best practices and learn from other team members
and peers
- Provides high level technical expertise to ensure efficient day to day
operation; Oversight, Ownership and accountability for resolution of
critical / high visibility incidents in coordination with other groups
- Work closely with Engineering Teams / SMEs to understand new
capabilities and ensure that support standards are in place
- Work across IT teams and business units to solve complex problems and
recommend continuous improvements, solutions; includes identifying
recurring issues, application patches and upgrades
- Ability to keep up with trends, relevant system development
technologies within application and/or technology domain
- Supply guidance and work with other strategic partners, ensuring
regular knowledge transfers and service levels are met.
- Responsible for orchestrating both simple and complex tasks with
limited supervision.
*Qualifications and required skills:*
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or other equivalent IT qualification
- Must have 9+ years’ experience with web application support/management
and IT solutions.
- *Must have hands-on with (SCM) source/version control systems, bug
trackers (E.g. Perforce, Jira, confluence and stash)*
- Experience with developing web application using .Net Framework, CSS,
HTML, and AJAX web programming, general web functions would be plus.
- Good to have experience in C#, developing ASP.NET
<http://asp.net/> applications,
web services
- Experience with Database/DBMS technologies.
- Experience with browser technologies like Javascript, HTML5,
AngularJS, API
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
- Ability to take specific technical requirements and fulfill those
requirements as written
- Desire to communicate consistently and constantly with project owners
about status, path forward and state.
- knowledge of Linux, able to troubleshoot using inbuilt tools available
on the platform
- Experience with scripting languages, such as Perl, Shell
- ITIL process knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to conduct complex systems problem analysis and guide teams
towards speedy resolution
- Must be able to effectively communicate and manage on and off-shore
teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict
resolution, and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume,
deadline-driven environment
- Ability to balance multiple demands and work both independently and as
part of a team
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing business models and
Organization structures
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to multi-task
delegate and prioritize tasks.
- Professionalism in dealing with all levels of management and staff
- Flexible with a service orientated attitude to work and willing to be
on-call as and when required
