Assume that the reader does not know the role or function of the job.) - Proven track record in Release Management for highly-complex and integrated applications and environments, with a demonstrable track record in delivering releases in a safe, effective manner with minimal risk to production environments - Excellent knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle - Understanding of Environment Management, specifically for complex SAP implementation programs with dual paths to to production - Good knowledge of Service Management tools and, more specifically Change and Release Management tools - Manage internal issues to remove barriers preventing them from performing their assigned activities. - Manage issues escalated from other functions or groups. - Protect the IT Services managed environments from unauthorized changes. - Reduce the amount of Incidents caused by changes by improving the level of quality/planning/testing/validation across releases. - Assist in process improvement. - Enforce compliance of the process (implementation, assessment, quality etc). - Be part of the Release Review Board (RRB) for Program - Ensure the process users are sufficiently trained to follow the process. - Provide quality metrics and reporting to promote compliance. - Liaise with other Process Leads and global leads to enhance interfaces internal and external to Service Management. Pa Post Implementation Reviews (PIR) meetings with the required stake holders to identify what went wrong during the implementation of failed changes/releases.
