*Role: Automation Tester with selenium* *Location: Des Moines, IA * *Phone + Skype* *12+ months* *GC / Citizen* The Client has indicated that they are looking to interview qualifying candidates very soon, So there is a sense of Urgency on my end. *Position Description: * Experience Level: Bachelor's degree plus 5 years related experience including exposure to testing automation tools Description: Under direct supervision, assists in the creation, preparation, and implementation of systems quality assurance reviews and the development and execution of test plans and test scripts. Interacts with users to share information and clarify instructions. Creates basic to moderately complex test plans using templates and guidelines. Works with more experienced analysts to assist in test strategy development. Creates basic test cases and test scripts. Performs simple to moderately complex test data conditioning, regression testing and testing validation. Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects. Documents all phases of the Systems QA process. May provide guidance to less experienced analysts. Candidate must be in Des Moines, IA area or able to relocate to Des Moines or by start date. The primary role for this position will be executing functional test scripts and performing moderately complex to complex test data conditioning, regression testing and testing validation. *Minimum Qualifications:* BA/BS degree and 5+ years related experience including familiarity with testing automation tools. Experience to be defined as: 3+ years proven experience with various testing tools and products such as Quality Center and Clear Quest. *5+ years of experience handling the QA Activities for multiple projects and directives and work in a fast-paced, highly integrated and systemic work environment * Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work cooperatively with peer managers to achieve common business goals Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills and a comfort level in communicating with individuals and groups Proven communication and facilitation skills and the ability to influence parties with diverse interests Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict Proven strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in developing test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results Proven ability to understand complex test environments and configurations, and manage testing efforts from planning through execution Ability to develop and implement best practices and procedures in a complex and high-volume environment Proven track record managing multiple concurrent testing efforts and code streams Mortgage banking industry Experience is strongly preferred over other QA experiences. *Preferred Skills Experience * *in mortgage banking industry * Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Experience in defect tracking, reporting, and metrics for testing Experience in knowledge-based/rule-based systems using commercial knowledge-based systems environments Experience with web applications.
