Manual Test Case Development based on User Story Acceptance Criteria
- Defect Reports on test cases failed logged into the defect tracking system
- Participation in defect triage meetings.
- Automation of manual test cases into automated regression test suites.
- Production of test performance metrics:
+ Test Case Development (planned verses actual)
+ Test Case Execution (planned verses actual)
+ Test Cases executed
+ Test Cases automated
+ Test automation coverage
*Skills Required*
1. 4 years C#/.Net experience in a web-based and desktop environment (6
Years for SE3); 5 years SQL database development experience; Report
development with SSRS; Understanding of data communication between
disparate systems; Programming of major enhancement features and bug fixes
to existing systems.
2. Ability to communicate technically (verbally and in writing) with other
developers, system architects, and technical managers is crucial.
3. Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) with non-technical
business subject matter experts, stakeholders and project managers for
clarifications, to define rules, and to provide explanations is critical.
4. Prior experience with the following systems is a must, including Visual
Studio, TFS, Lab Manager (or equivalent test automation system)
5. A minimum of 6 months experience with ITD DMV software development
practices.
